Moms and Kidz Support Group (MAK)
- Newborns to 18 months. A support group for new and expectant moms to network on such issues as breast feeding, play, and the importance of early literacy, developmental milestones and more.
- Professionals form our community t provide special programs bi-monthly such as: baby yoga, nutrition, language development, etc.
- Come join us each Monday and Wednesday from 10:00am -11:30am at no charge. Pre-registration is not required.

North Brevard Connections (NBC)
NBC is a casual support group for parents and caregivers of children (all ages through adult children) with special needs. Join us the 2nd & 4th Friday mornings, 9:30am-11:30am, as we make connections, develop relationships and grow our circle of resources. Kids are welcome. The group is hosted by, The Children’s Center and facilitated by Caladium Learning Center and Early Steps. Must pre-register if child care is needed. Respite Care (Parents Night Out)
A night out and break for parents of children ages 1 to 18, targeting children with special needs and their siblings. However, we realize the job of parenthood can be stressful for all families; therefore this program is open to any family who would like to participate. One evening a month special needs children and typically developing children interact with their peers while caregivers have time away. This program is fully inclusive, therefore open to any family who would like to participate.
The first night is FREE. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

Home Visiting and Parent Education
Healthy Families Brevard helps parent be the best they can be. We provide parents with the latest research based information, we help families reach their goals, we provide developmental screenings and home safety education. We promote literacy and school readiness. We also promote self-sufficiency and teach parents about resources that are available in the community. We do all of this in the comfort of the parent’s home.
